Ok, I think I can make an appearance. BTW, I'm probably going to do that clean install of XP tomorrow. System starting to get buggy. I got bored last night and wanted to play a game of MW 4 BK. Haven't played it in months. Anyway, the mechs in the mechlab (where you add weapons, armor ect.) spin for some unknown reason. They never did that before. I'm starting to think that it may be a dll problem created from one of the many game patches on here. Latest patches applied were for: Left 4 Dead, Alien vs Predator 2, and anything else that auto updates. If I can track the exact game/patch down, I'll make a post. I will also try to see if Tachyon is affected in any way like the other games I have. |

The 8th hour:
I hate re-installs. So time consuming. BTW, I've located a possible sticking point with my hardware. The Intel Desktop Utility claims that my CPU core voltage is out of spec - 1/2 of what it is supposed to be. I am however
not sure that I can trust that number. I've had problems with earlier versions of the same software Example: with my 925XCV board, temprature alarms would
constantly go off while playing StarCraft, but no other game, not even one that was more resource demanding such as MechWarrior 4 or Tach. May just be that the
software in question was not designed to work with 2 core CPU's - after all, they do draw less voltage by design.
It will take me part of tomorrow to install the rest of the critical updates and my games, but I should be ok by the weekend. |

What I do is get a copy of a game installed, such as tach, then copy that whole directory and name
it something like Perfect Working... Ever need to reinstall, just delete and copy over again.

Well the only person that came in was DarkRaven at the right time.
Early sunday we had 2 4 person games, 6 individual players. I wanted to record some new videos of Tach for YouTube, but darn if I didn't spend 2 hours getting it setup, for tach to lock up and wipe out all my settings. Completely messed up the recordings.

Well, provided I am not sent out to Wisconsin, Nebraska, or Eastern Pennsylvania over the weekend - I'll see you all over the weekend.
